How to Care for Me?
Willow oak prefers full sun and grows best in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soils but tolerates periodic wetness and average urban soils once established. Water regularly during the first 2–3 years to establish a strong root system. After establishment, it is moderately drought-tolerant. Prune in late winter to establish strong branch structure when young.
