Lashawn Chinn

Lashawn is a dedicated court assistant with a strong commitment to her community. She is actively involved in several organizations, including Prince Hall Eastern Star, Jack and Jill of America, Oshei Leaders of Colors, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Motivated by the loss of many trees in the city due to storms, Lashawn became an ambassador to help educate others on how to access and plant trees. She believes that increasing tree coverage not only enhances the beauty of neighborhoods but also supports a healthier environment. She is especially passionate about bringing more trees to Buffalo’s East Side, particularly along Jefferson Avenue. Lashawn’s favorite color is blue!
