How to Care for Me?
Crabapple grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. Good air circulation and adequate sunlight help reduce disease problems and promote abundant flowering and fruit production. Water regularly during the first 2–3 years to establish a healthy root system. After establishment, crabapples are moderately drought-tolerant but benefit from supplemental watering during prolonged dry periods. Prune in late winter to remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches.
