How to Care for Me?
Shingle oak grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soils but adapts to a wide range of conditions. Water regularly during the first 2–3 years to establish a deep root system. After establishment, supplemental watering is only needed during extended dry periods. Prune in late winter to establish strong structure when young and remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches.
