About the Event:

Putting The Neighbor Back in the Hood is an initiative that began in 1996 in Buffalo, led by Masjid Nu’Man. What began as an effort to beautify the Fillmore Avenue area has now grown into a city-wide effort to promote neighborly deeds, bring people together, and celebrate good neighbors. This year, the lineup for the parade will be at C. District Police Station on Fillmore starting at 10am. The parade walk will begin promptly at 11am and will end at MLK Park.

Buffalo Street Trees will be tabling at Putting The Neighbor Back in the Hood to spread awareness on the benefits of trees and help residents request a FREE tree!
